Install SAM Office on a Mac

Use the official Mac installer to add SAM Write, SAM Count and SAM Show to Applications.

This guide is based on application documentation. Its full procedure has not yet been tested directly; some details may vary by operating system and version.

Step by step

  1. Check Apple menu > About This Mac. The supplied Mac package requires Apple silicon and macOS 11 or later; choose a package explicitly matching your Mac.
  2. Download the official Mac .pkg installer. Save and close your open SAM Office documents before installing or upgrading.
  3. Double-click the .pkg file. In the SAM Office installer, choose Continue.
  4. Read the license, choose Continue and agree to it if you accept the terms.
  5. Choose Install and approve the administrator request from macOS.
  6. Wait for the installation-success message and choose Close.
  7. In Finder, open Applications > SAM Office and launch SAM Write, SAM Count or SAM Show. Sign in with your SAM Mail account if asked.
Before you continue

If the Mac download is a DMG, follow the installation instructions supplied with that download; do not move only one app out of the SAM Office folder.

If macOS cannot verify an official installer, get a fresh copy from the official download page and contact support if the warning remains.
