Chat notifications and ringtones
Check browser notification permission and choose your call ringtone.
Step by step
- If Chat displays Message notifications are off, review Turn on to enable browser notification permission.
- When the browser asks, choose the permission you want to grant this site.
- Open your profile picture → Settings → Notifications & ringtones.
- Review Call Ringtone options: Classic, Modern, Gentle, Urgent and Melody. You can preview a tone before choosing it.
- If ringing is missing, check Do Not Disturb, site permissions and the device’s audio settings.
