Start a conversation
Find an existing conversation or choose a contact for a new one.
Step by step
- Open Chat from the application bar.
- Use Search contacts and groups… to find an existing conversation.
- Use All, Unread, Groups or Contacts to filter the list.
- For a new conversation, select New → New Conversation, choose a contact and review Create Conversation.
- Follow the contact or invitation state shown for that person.
- After opening a conversation, check the recipient’s name before writing or attaching a file.
