Create a free personal email
Sign up for a free personal SAM Mail address with your name, the address you pick and a code sent to your mobile.
Step by step
- Open account.smail.sa/signup, or select Create your free email under the sign-in box at account.smail.sa. The page opens with the title Claim your personal email.
- Type your first and last name in Arabic and in English letters, choose your Date of birth and Gender, then select Next.
- Under Pick your email, select @smail.sa or @sammail.sa. Select a suggested card marked Free ✓, or type a name of your choice and wait for Available!, then select Next.
- Type a Password with at least 6 characters, an upper case letter, a lower case letter, a digit and a symbol, then type it again in Confirm password.
- Type your Saudi Mobile number without the country code, for example 5XXXXXXXX. Tick I agree to the privacy policy and select Sign up and claim your name.
- Type the 6-digit code from the text message and select Verify and create my email. If no message arrives, select Resend when the countdown ends.
- When Your email is ready! appears, select Open your mail. Later, sign in with your full address, for example name@smail.sa, and your password.

Before you continue
A name of 8 characters or more is free, and every suggested card is free. Use English letters and digits, with a single dot, underscore or hyphen between two parts.
Choose your address carefully: you cannot rename it yourself after sign-up.
The verification code is valid for 15 minutes. Never share it with anyone.
If the page says your mailbox is being prepared, do not sign up again. Wait for the text message, then sign in.
