Join a meeting and check devices
Open a meeting invitation or enter a meeting code, then check your devices before joining.
Step by step
- Open Meet from the application bar.
- Open the invitation link, or enter its code in the join field and select Join.
- On the prejoin screen, check the account you will join with.
- Review Microphone and Camera and choose the correct devices. Grant browser permission if prompted.
- Select Join Meeting when ready. You may wait for the host if a waiting room is enabled.
- If the camera or microphone cannot be accessed, follow the device troubleshooting guide before retrying.
