Host controls and participant permissions
A reference for host and participant permissions; available controls depend on your role.
This guide is based on application documentation. Its full procedure has not yet been tested directly; some details may vary by operating system and version.
Step by step
- Inside a meeting, Host Controls manages participant permissions for the host.
- Review Lock Meeting and its description before changing entry restrictions.
- Permission options include screen sharing, microphone, camera, raise hand, inviting people, sending chat messages and viewing participants.
- People displays the participant list when your role permits it. Some controls differ by screen size or role.
- Distinguish Leave Meeting, which exits for you, from End Meeting for All, which ends the session for everyone.
Before you continue
This reference has not yet been verified in a live host-and-participant session.
