Search emails and advanced search
Use search terms and advanced filters to find the right message.
Step by step
- Select Search emails… at the top of Mail and enter words from the subject or message.
- Run the search and review the results.
- Open Advanced search for From, To, Subject, Has the words, Doesn’t have, From date, To date, Search in and Has attachment.
- Set the filters you need and select Search.
- If the message is missing, try a shorter keyword and check the selected folders and filters.
